Baseless Claims: Kuwait Airways Responds to Allegations of Passenger Disembarkment

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 5: The Kuwait Airways Corporation has denied disembarking passengers from one of its planes just to accommodate the family of one of its senior officials, reports Al-Jarida daily. A press release issued by the KAC has blatantly denied, Friday, the validity of what is being circulated on social media, about “disembarking passengers from the plane, and accommodating the family of an official in the company,” The KAC has called on such media outlets to first verify the news from official sources before publishing misleading reports. In an explanatory note the KAC said what is being published in this regard was verified, and discovered that “some passengers were transferred to another plane due to a change in the type of plane, and there is no transgression in our procedures.” The note emphasized the keenness of the KAC for customer comfort and providing them with the best services.
