Faisal Baqer

CAIRO, Dec 25: Faisal Baqer expressed his immense joy after being elected Treasurer of the Asian Handball Federation for the 2025–2029 term, during the General Assembly meeting held in Cairo, Egypt.

He described the victory as a significant milestone in his sporting career, emphasizing that the trust placed in him by member countries, as well as sports and media figures, is a source of great pride and honor. Baqer extended his heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported him.

"This continental appointment is a tremendous honor," Baqer said. "I pledge to represent Kuwait with integrity and pride, and to work diligently alongside Asian Handball Federation President Badr Al-Dhiab and the Board of Directors to develop and elevate Asian handball, in cooperation with national federations, clubs, and media institutions."

Baqer highlighted that his election reflects Kuwait’s strong standing in Asia and underscores the country’s ability to contribute effectively and honorably to international organizations across all fields.
