KUWAIT CITY, Nov 24: Egyptian authorities have refused to allow 11 Palestinian teachers to travel from Gaza to Kuwait via Egypt due to security bans imposed on them, reports Al-Qabas daily quoting informed sources.

They explained that these 11 teachers are among the Palestinian teachers with whom Ministry of Education had signed contracts in July.

Initially, the number of teachers who were banned was 12, but one of them managed to obtain security approval from the Egyptian authorities and he reached Kuwait last Thursday.

The sources stressed that relevant Palestinian authorities are taking necessary procedures to complete the transactions of the banned teachers in coordination with the Egyptian and Kuwaiti authorities.

It is worth mentioning that 290 Palestinian teachers particularly from Gaza reached Kuwait via Cairo International Airport.
