Banks to remain closed on Sept 28 on the occasion of Prophet’s birthday

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 18: The Kuwait Banking Association, Sheikha Al-Issa, Director of Public Relations at the Kuwait Banking Association, stated that on the occasion of the approaching anniversary of the Prophet’s birthday for the Hijri year 1445 AH, local banks will suspend their work on Thursday, Sept 28, as it is an official holiday.

The KBA director said work will resume on Sunday, October 1, based on the circular issued by the Central Bank of Kuwait in this regard.

Al-Issa said the Kuwait Banking Association takes this opportunity to extend its best congratulations and blessings to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, the Prime Minister His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad, the people of Kuwait and all esteemed bank customers.
