Bangladeshi hurts Jordanian room-mate for not cleaning flat

KUWAIT CITY, April 30: A Jordanian expatriate accused a Bangladeshi expatriate of beating him, causing burns to his right hand and threatening to murder him with a knife. According to security sources, the victim went to Nugra Police Station and reported that a quarrel broke out between him and his Bangladeshi flat-mate about cleaning the flat. During the quarrel, he was attacked and threatened by the suspect. He presented a medical report which he obtained from Mubarak Hospital after receiving treatment. A case was registered and the suspect has been summoned to the police station for questioning and necessary action.

Suicide attempted: A 1985-born Egyptian woman attempted to commit suicide by consuming large quantities of pills in Fintas area. According to security sources, the woman was admitted in Mubarak Hospital in serious condition. Medical examinations revealed that she had consumed large number of pills in an attempt to commit suicide. Doctors flushed the pills out of her and provided necessary medical treatment. A case has been filed against her at Fintas Police Station.

Woman found drunk: A drunken Kuwaiti woman in her 30s insulted a Kuwaiti man in his 20s and intentionally crashed into his vehicle in Maidan Hawally area. According to security sources, securitymen rushed to the location when they received information about the incident. The man told securitymen that he got the smell of alcohol from her and that she had intentionally crashed into his vehicle. When securitymen questioned her, she started shouting at them and made fun of them, forcing securitymen to take necessary action.
