KUWAIT CITY: A Bangladeshi girl was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle while crossing the coastal road.

Emergency medical teams and security authorities rushed to the scene following the accident. The injured girl was airlifted to Al-Adan Hospital in critical condition and admitted to the intensive care unit for treatment.

According to a security source, the Syrian driver of the vehicle involved in the accident was subsequently detained at a local police station for questioning as authorities investigate the circumstances of the incident.
