KUWAIT CITY, Jun 5: Upon learning of the urgent need for blood for individuals injured in the drone attack at Kuwait International Airport on 3 June 2026, His Excellency, the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Kuwait, Major General Syed Tareq Hussain, OSP, awc, psc, along with four embassy officials, promptly visited the Central Blood Bank in Jabriya and personally donated blood. In a gesture of solidarity with the brotherly people of Kuwait, the Embassy of Bangladesh in Kuwait also called upon Bangladeshi expatriates to take part in this humanitarian blood donation initiative.

Responding to the embassy’s appeal, a large number of Bangladeshi expatriates came forward and donated blood on 4 and 5 June 2026 at the Kuwait Central Blood Bank in support of those injured in the attack. A total of 266 individuals registered as donors, while blood was successfully collected from 178 after medical screening. This strong humanitarian response reflects the Bangladeshi community’s solidarity with the victims and their support for the people of Kuwait during this difficult time.
