KUWAIT CITY, July 12: Following a complaint lodged by a Bangladeshi expatriate, the investigator at Al-Waha police station has directed the detectives to apprehend a fellow Bangladeshi expat accused of defrauding him and embezzling 300 dinars.

According to the victim, the defendant had claimed to have connections with an office in Bangladesh that could facilitate bringing his sister's children to Kuwait. Consequently, the victim handed over the aforementioned amount to the defendant in the Al-Waha area towards the end of 2020. However, since that date, the accused has continuously delayed repayment and failed to fulfill the promised arrangement.

The authorities at Al-Waha police station are actively pursuing the case, aiming to apprehend the suspect and recover the defrauded amount. The investigation will delve into the specifics of the alleged fraud, ensuring that justice is served and the victim's rights are protected.
