Bangladeshi driver abducts Kuwaiti female student

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 22: A case of attempted kidnapping has been filed at the Mina Abdullah Police Station by an unidentified Kuwaiti woman accusing the driver of the bus of kidnapping her daughter, reports Al-Anba daily.

The woman who is in her 50s told the police station when her daughter was late in coming home after her lectures, she contacted the driver and the latter said he had already dropped her near the home.

She then called the daughter again and found her phone switched off. She again called the driver and at this point she heard the screams of her daughter and the man soon closed his phone. The Al-Rai daily said the driver is a Bangladeshi citizen. Police are investigating.
