Bangladesh PM Sends Message to Kuwait Amir on Strengthening Bilateral Economic and Diplomatic Ties

KUWAIT CITY, May 24: His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received a written message from Bangladeshi Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, focusing on strengthening bilateral relations between Kuwait and Bangladesh, according to an official statement.

The message, which highlighted the close ties between the two friendly countries and explored avenues for further cooperation, was delivered during an official reception held by Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.

The Kuwaiti Foreign Minister received the message from Humayun Kabir, Advisor and Envoy of the Bangladeshi Prime Minister for Foreign Affairs, and Emdadul Haque Milan, State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism of Bangladesh, who were on an official visit to Kuwait.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed bilateral relations and discussed ways to enhance cooperation across various sectors. They also exchanged views on recent regional and international developments, along with issues of mutual interest.

Officials said the discussions reflect ongoing efforts by both countries to deepen diplomatic engagement and expand cooperation frameworks in areas of shared priority.
