KUWAIT, July 31:  The Respected Chief of Army Staff (CAS) of Bangladesh Army General S M Shafiuddin Ahmad, SBP (BAR), OSP, ndu, psc, PhD met Acting Chief of the General Staff of Kuwait Armed Forces, Major General Ghazi Hassan Al-Shammari on July, 31, 2023. The Acting Chief of the General Staff conveyed his satisfaction to the visiting Chief for the professional attitudes of Bangladeshi soldiers who are deployed in Kuwait under Kuwait Armed Forces.

The visiting Chief of Bangladesh Army conveyed his thanks for inviting him to Kuwait and rendering continuous support to the Bangladeshi deputees. Both the Generals confirmed that the existing cooperation between the two Armed Forces shall continue and grow further in the days to come. The CAS of Bangladesh Army is scheduled to attend the Call On of one of the Deputy Prime Ministers, Undersecretaries of Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Interior, and National Guard during his 4 days official visit to Kuwait.
