Ban on water and foam guns during national holidays

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 20: The Ministry of Interior is all set up with 8,000 security men and 1,650 patrols in various areas to  secure and keep up with pace during the national holidays and celebrations in Kuwait. 

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Major General Anwar Al-Barjas chaired the  meeting with security officers to discuss plans as Kuwait is preparing for the celebrations of national holidays. The security men are fully prepared and will be on constant vigil to impose law on any negative behaviors such as water spraying, parking in prohibited places, parking in place for the disabled, holding car races, reckless driving and speeding above the prescribed limit. 


He urged parents to follow up on their children and not to allow them to be on public roads in order to expose them to dangers and be committed to generous and respectful behavior, reports Al Rai. Assistant Undersecretary for the Public Security Sector, Maj. Gen. Farraj Al-Zoubi stated that 8,000 security men will be stationed at various places such as Arab Gulf Street, Al-Khairan, Al-Wafra, Kabd, Al-Subiya, Jaber Bridge, and Al-Abdali Farms. He further stressed that water and foam sprinklers nuisance are prohibited due to lack of disturbing joy of the celebrants and to preserve safety.
