Bahraini Diver perishes at Kuwait’s Doha power plant

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 19: A Bahraini working at the Doha Power Plant working as a diver died by drowning, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily said the victim was doing some repair work. Paramedics and his colleagues failed to revive him after he was pulled out of water.

A case of death by drowning has been registered. Meanwhile, the Nuwaiseeb customs men have arrested an Arab man for possessing narcotic pills, and he referred him to the competent authorities, reports Al-Rai daily. In another story, the Communications and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA) said its ‘hidden customer’ has so far conducted 1,158 field visits to ensure that companies strictly comply with laws and regulations, reports Al-Anba daily. The authority disclosed that the ‘hidden customer’ uncovered 17 violations from January to October 2022.
