MANAMA, Apr 9: The Bahrain Defence Force said it has intercepted and destroyed a total of 709 aerial threats since the onset of what it described as Iranian aggression on February 28.
According to the military, the interceptions include 515 drones and 194 missiles, reflecting sustained defensive operations amid ongoing regional tensions.
The figures highlight the scale of aerial activity faced by Bahrain in recent weeks, as air defense systems continue to respond to incoming threats.
Officials did not provide further details on specific incidents or damage, but said defensive measures remain active as part of efforts to protect the country’s airspace and maintain national security.
