MANAMA, March 25: The Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) announced that its air defence systems have successfully intercepted 153 ballistic missiles and 331 drones launched in a series of hostile attacks from Iran. The statement highlighted the unwavering vigilance and combat readiness of BDF personnel in protecting the Kingdom.

“The exceptional operational effectiveness of our forces ensures that Bahrain’s skies remain secure,” the General Command said, expressing pride in the dedication and professionalism of its personnel.

The General Command urged the public to exercise caution, advising citizens and residents to avoid affected areas and suspicious objects, refrain from filming or photographing military operations or debris sites, and rely only on official government channels for updates and advisories.

The statement condemned the use of ballistic missiles and drones against civilian areas and private property as a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and the UN Charter, warning that such attacks pose a serious threat to regional peace and security.
