MANAMA, March 23: Bahrain’s air defence systems have intercepted and destroyed 147 ballistic missiles and 282 drones since the onset of Iranian hostilities, the Bahrain Defence Force General Command announced.
The military praised the high level of combat readiness and operational efficiency demonstrated by its personnel, affirming that the kingdom’s airspace remains secure despite ongoing regional tensions.
Authorities also issued public safety guidance, urging residents to stay away from affected areas and any suspicious objects, avoid filming military operations or debris sites, and refrain from circulating unverified information. Citizens and residents were advised to rely solely on official sources for updates and safety instructions.
