MANAMA, Mar. 16 – The Bahrain Defence Force announced that its air defence systems have successfully intercepted and destroyed 129 ballistic missiles and 221 drones targeting the Kingdom since the start of hostilities, citing the vigilance and readiness of its personnel.

The General Command praised the exceptional combat performance of BDF forces, emphasizing that Bahrain’s skies remain secure. Authorities urged citizens and residents to avoid affected areas, stay clear of suspicious objects, refrain from filming military operations, and rely only on official government channels for updates.

The command also condemned the attacks, stating that targeting civilian areas with missiles and drones violates international humanitarian law and poses a serious threat to regional peace and security.
