Bahrain Intercepts 102 Missiles and 173 Drones Amid Hostilities

MANAMA, Mar 10: The Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) has successfully intercepted 102 missiles and 173 drones targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain since the start of hostilities, maintaining the protection of its airspace against Iranian attacks.

The BDF General Command praised the combat readiness and operational performance of its personnel and confirmed that Bahrain’s skies remain secure. The command urged the public to exercise caution, avoid affected sites and suspicious objects, refrain from filming military operations or debris, and rely solely on official sources for updates.

The General Command also condemned the use of ballistic missiles and drones against civilian targets as a violation of international humanitarian law and the United Nations Charter, warning that such attacks threaten regional peace and security.
