MANAMA, April 11: The General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force announced that all military units and weapon systems are operating at the highest levels of readiness and defensive preparedness amid ongoing regional tensions.

In a statement, the command said that since the beginning of what it described as recent Iranian attacks, Bahrain’s air defense systems have intercepted and destroyed 194 missiles and 516 drones targeting the kingdom.

The military said the sustained interception operations reflect the force’s operational readiness and continued ability to respond to aerial threats, emphasizing that defensive measures remain fully active to protect national security and critical infrastructure.

Authorities reiterated that all units remain on high alert as the security situation in the region continues to evolve, underscoring Bahrain’s commitment to safeguarding its airspace and territorial integrity.
