Bahrain Intercepted Several Iranian Aerial Attacks Targeting Civilians Across Cities

MANAMA, Sep 2: Bahrain’s air defenses intercepted and destroyed several Iranian aerial attacks targeting cities across the Kingdom on Wednesday, the Bahrain Defence Force said.

The Bahrain Defence Force said its air defense systems successfully intercepted the attacks and remained fully prepared to safeguard the Kingdom’s security and safety.

Bahrain accused Iran of deliberately targeting civilian areas with missiles and drones. Authorities urged residents not to approach any suspicious objects or debris and to report them immediately, while military engineering teams were prepared to safely deal with remnants from the intercepted attacks.

The latest attacks come amid renewed military escalation between the United States and Iran, with Tehran launching retaliatory missile and drone strikes against U.S.-linked targets across the region.
