MANAMA, Apr 8: The Bahrain Defence Force has said it has intercepted and destroyed a total of 702 aerial threats, including drones and missiles, since the onset of what it described as Iranian aggression on February 28.
According to the statement, the military downed 508 drones and 194 missiles during the period, amid ongoing regional tensions and cross-border attacks affecting Gulf security.
Authorities in Bahrain said defensive operations remain active as part of continued efforts to protect national airspace and critical infrastructure.
The figures come as Gulf states maintain heightened alert levels following sustained missile and drone activity across the region.
