Bahrain Intercepted 121 Missiles, 193 UAVs Till Now

MANAMA, Mar. 14: The Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) announced that its air defence systems have successfully intercepted 121 ballistic missiles and 193 drones targeting the Kingdom since the start of hostilities, thanks to the vigilance and readiness of its personnel.

In a statement, the General Command praised the combat readiness and operational effectiveness of BDF personnel, saying their performance ensures that Bahrain’s skies remain secure.

Authorities urged the public to exercise caution for personal safety, advising citizens and residents to avoid affected areas, refrain from filming or photographing military operations or debris, avoid sharing unverified information, and rely only on official government media channels for updates and alerts.

The General Command also condemned the attacks, stating that the use of ballistic missiles and drones against civilian areas and private property violates international humanitarian law and the United Nations Charter, posing a direct threat to regional peace and security.
