MANANMA, Mar 28: The Ministry of Interior (Bahrain) has announced a strict and immediate ban on the use of drones across the Kingdom, citing national security concerns and ongoing efforts to address the repercussions of what it described as Iranian aggression.
In a statement, the ministry said the ban applies to all drone operations, regardless of purpose, as part of its legal and security responsibilities to safeguard public safety and strengthen civil protection measures.
Authorities warned that any drone found operating in violation of the ban will be intercepted and destroyed. Legal action will also be taken against individuals who breach the directive.
The ban takes effect immediately and will remain in force until further notice, the ministry added.
