MANAMA, Mar 7: Authorities in Bahrain have banned outdoor gatherings on roads and in public squares to ensure the safety of citizens and residents amid ongoing regional tensions.
In a statement, the Bahrain Ministry of Interior said the directive was issued by the Civil Defence Council of Bahrain as a precautionary measure during the continuing missile and drone attacks launched by Iran against the kingdom.
Officials said the temporary ban aims to protect the public from potential risks posed by missiles, drones, and falling debris during the attacks.
Authorities urged residents to adhere to official safety instructions and avoid gathering in open areas until further notice.
