MANAMA, Mar 3: Bahrain’s Ministry of Interior announced that the Anti-Cybercrime Directorate at the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security has arrested two individuals, aged 20 and 24, for misusing social media platforms.
One of the suspects filmed and posted a video expressing sympathy with the malicious Iranian aggression, an act described as a betrayal of the nation and a clear violation of its values and principles. The other suspect filmed a military site. Both individuals published the content through their social media accounts in a manner deemed harmful to security and public order. Legal proceedings are underway, and the case has been referred to the Public Prosecution.
