MANAMA, Sep 2: Bahrain’s Ministry of Interior has issued a public safety alert over a potential threat, urging citizens and residents to remain calm and proceed to the nearest safe location.

The ministry also called on the public to follow updates and instructions through official channels and avoid spreading unverified information. Similar alerts in Bahrain have previously been issued following the activation of warning sirens amid regional security threats.
