MANAMA, July 9: Bahrain activated alarm sirens on Wednesday and urged citizens and residents to immediately seek shelter as regional security tensions intensified.
In a statement, the Ministry of Interior called on the public to remain calm, proceed to the nearest safe location, and follow all instructions issued by the authorities.
The ministry also urged residents to rely exclusively on official channels for updates and information regarding the evolving situation.
No further details were immediately provided on the reason for the activation of the alarm sirens.
