MANAMA, July 13: Bahrain activated air raid sirens after Iranian state-affiliated media reported that missiles and drones had been launched toward US targets in the region.

The Bahraini Interior Ministry confirmed the activation of the warning sirens and urged residents to remain calm while following official safety instructions.

The ministry advised the public to avoid using or obstructing main roads unless absolutely necessary, saying additional guidance would be issued as the situation develops.

The precautionary measures came amid heightened regional tensions following reports from Iranian media of missile and drone launches targeting US military assets across the Gulf. Bahraini authorities have not reported any strikes or damage within the kingdom.
