Ayman and Boubacar officially join Al-Arabi

KUWAI CITY, Jan 24: Tunisian football professionals Ayman and Algerian Imad Eddine Boubacar have officially joined the Al-Arabi Football Team, integrating into the team’s training sessions after arriving in the country to commence their careers with the club.Al-Arabi strategically signed the duo to fill the void left by Senegalese Mamadou Thiam and Algerian Sofiane Bouchard. The club, however, retained the services of the remaining Moroccan professionals Hamza Khaba and Walid Essabar, along with Nigerian Anabo Iwala.

During their introduction to Al-Arabi, the new duo met with the team’s media coordinator, Mishaal Al-Abakal, and the manager, Issa Ashkanani. The club officials provided them with a tour of the Al-Arabi Club facilities.Both Boubacar and Ayman are set to be available for selection by the technical staff led by Bosnian Darko Nestorovic in the upcoming match against Salibakhat, marking the start of the team’s journey in the Amir Cup. It’s worth noting that Boubacar and Ayman have been actively participating in official matches in recent times.

The Algerian professional Boubacar, aged 28, joins Al-Arabi from the Egyptian Arab Contractors, while Ayman brings his experience from the Egyptian Modern Future. He has previously played for Olympique Sidi Bouzid and Etoile Sportive du Sahel, earning the top scorer award in the 2020-2021 Tunisian championship with 9 goals. He also boasts experience with the Tunisian Stadium.Al-Arabi currently holds the second position in the Kuwaiti Premier League with 32 points, narrowly trailing behind leaders Kuwait.

In terms of injuries, the list of sidelined players in Al-Arabi Club includes striker Salman Al-Awadi, Hassan Hamdan, and Sultan Al-Enezi. Hamdan is undergoing a treatment program in the Emirates, Al-Awadhi is linked to a treatment program at the Aspire Academy in Qatar, and Sultan is receiving treatment at the club’s clinic.Al-Arabi stands in second place in the Zain Premier League with 33 points, separated from the leader Kuwait by only a goal difference.
