KUWAIT CITY, Feb 12: The much-anticipated Konkani film Crazy Mogi premiered in Kuwait on Feb 12 at Ozone Cinema, Trio Mall, Khaitan, and will continue screenings until Feb 18. (Children below 15 years are not permitted.) This is presented by the Good Shepherds Cultural & Social Welfare Association Kuwait. Directed and written by Christ Silva, the film stars John D’Silva, Merlyn D’Silva, Samantha Da Costa, Kenny Fernandes and an ensemble cast that keeps audiences entertained with charm, humor, and engaging performances.

The 2023 romantic comedy-drama follows young lovers Arjun and Joaquim as they navigate the highs and lows of love with the help of their friend Roy. Packed with romance, comedy, and unexpected twists, the film offers a light-hearted yet mature take on modern relationships, misunderstandings, and personal growth, leaving viewers laughing, cheering, and thoroughly charmed.

Already acclaimed internationally, Crazy Mogi has won 14 awards at the 12th Goa State Film Festival and received enthusiastic responses from Konkani-speaking communities in Dubai, London, and Qatar. With its heartwarming story and award-winning appeal, the film showcases the rising strength of Konkani cinema while delighting audiences in Kuwait.

During the premiere of “Crazy Mogi,” the President of Good Shepherds expressed heartfelt appreciation to all members whose dedicated efforts made it possible to bring the film to Kuwait for Konkani language enthusiasts. Writer and Director Chris Silva also addressed the audience, warmly thanking the Good Shepherds Cultural and Social Welfare Association for their commitment and support in organizing the screening and introducing the film to the community in Kuwait.
