KUWAIT CITY, July 9: The General Administration of Customs announced that airport inspectors successfully thwarted several attempts to smuggle narcotics into the country through various passenger terminals, including Terminals 1, 4, and 5.
In an official statement, the administration revealed that the confiscated substances included alcohol, marijuana, hallucinogenic pills, and other banned drugs. These items were cleverly concealed in passengers' luggage in an attempt to evade detection.
The administration credited this success to the alertness and professionalism of customs inspectors, who demonstrated a high level of security awareness during the inspection process.
The individuals involved in the smuggling attempts were apprehended and referred to the appropriate legal authorities along with the seized contraband for further action.
