Audit nods KD 3m MC refurbishment deal

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 2: The State Audit Bureau has approved the contract for the supply, installation and maintenance of furniture and interior design works in the General Secretariat of the new Municipal Council building at a cost of KD 3.388 million, reports Al-Qabas daily. The daily obtained information that the total cost of the project, including the building and furniture, is KD23.570 million. Chairman of the Municipal Council Osama Al-Otaibi, praised the important role played by the bureau, Central Tenders Committee, Project Development Sector in Kuwait Municipality and other relevant government agencies. He also expressed appreciation for the role played by Secretary General of the council Badr Al-Rifai and the Municipality employees.
