ATVs seized in Wafra

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 31: Personnel from the Ahmadi Governorate Security Directorate launched a surprise campaign against reckless motorcyclists and ATV (all terrain vehicles) riders in Wafra and arrested the riders and seized their vehicles, reports Al-Anba daily.

According to a statement issued by the Directorate General of Public Relations and Security Media Department of the Interior Ministry the campaign was organized to maintain law and order and put an end to recklessness following complaints from several residents of the area because they felt their lives and the lives of the visitors to the area were put in danger.

The security directorate said sudden inspection campaigns will continue all over the country to arrest the violators, wanted persons, reckless drivers, and anyone who refuses to abide by law and order.
