KUWAIT CITY, Dec 1: The Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh police have arrested an unidentified person for allegedly pulling out a knife and threatening to stab police and hurling insults at them, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily added, this happened when the police saw the suspect praying next to his vehicle although the vehicle was parked next to a mosque and the mosque was open and there was no crowd.

The daily added, the two security men waited for the man to finish his prayer, and then approached him and asked for his identity.

He refused at the beginning and said ‘If I give you my ID who will give me another one’. When the security man insisted on seeing his identity, to their surprise the man pulled out a knife from his pocket and attempted to stab one of them. However, he was controlled and police discovered he was a bedoun, in his late 40s.

He started saying all policemen are infidel and verbally abused them. When asked about the condition of the man, if he is mentally retarded or if he has a file at the Psychiatric Hospital, a security source to identify his condition is not within the scope of the police. What the police are carrying out is customary interrogation.
