Attacks on Kuwait will only strengthen unity among citizens

KUWAIT CITY, June 4: Governor of Farwaniya Sheikh Athbi Nasser Al-Athbi Al-Sabah on Thursday conducted an inspection tour in Terminal One (T1) at Kuwait International Airport to assess the situation and the impact of the Iranian attack on the airport. Director General for Airport Security Brigadier General Bader Al-Shaya and several security officials warmly welcomed the Governor.

Al-Shaya accompanied the Governor in touring the terminal while briefing him on the security measures taken and the efforts exerted by the concerned authorities in dealing with the aftermath of the attack. The Governor listened to the explanation on the extent of the damage in some airport facilities and the precautionary measures implemented to ensure the safety of passengers and staff.

He commended the efforts of security and technical agencies and airport personnel in facing such exceptional circumstances. He affirmed that the heinous attack on the State of Kuwait will only strengthen the unity of citizens as they rally behind their wise political leaders. He emphasized the importance of continuing efforts and coordination among all relevant authorities to maintain national security and ensure the safety of its vital facilities.

At the conclusion of the tour, Al-Shaya expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Governor and the relevant authorities in dealing with the aftermath of the attack. Al-Shaya thanked and appreciated the Governor for this field visit, stressing that his presence and first-hand knowledge of the situation proved his commitment to follow up issues affecting the security and safety of citizens and residents. He also lauded the unwavering support of the Governor for the security authorities and employees at the airport.
