Asians said collecting donations to send money to poor kids on the occasion of Christmas

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 10: Despite the strict regulations set by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor on the collection of donations by individuals and organizations, a group of Asians came up with a new modus operandi to collect donations which will allegedly be distributed to poor children in their homeland on the occasion of Christmas, reports Al-Qabas daily.

These Asians knock on apartments to ask for donations, claiming they are doing charity work to help poor children and make them happy during Christmas. They said the money will be sent to charity organizations in their homeland and these organizations will, in turn, distribute the collected donations to poor children. They use colored envelopes where messages of love and Christmas greetings are written as a way of enticing people to give donations.
