Asian maid attempts suicide by consuming pesticide

KUWAIT CITY, June 10: An unidentified Asian maid who attempted to end her life by consuming a large dose of pesticide has been referred for interrogation and a case of suicide attempt has been filed against her, reports Al-Rai daily. According to the security sources the incident happened in Saad Al-Abdullah.

The sponsoring family called the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry when the sponsor saw the health condition of the maid deteriorating. Police and paramedics rushed to the spot and took the woman to the Jahra Hospital and she was given stomach wash to save her life. Her condition is said to have improved after medication
