Asian housemaid commits ‘suicide’ at her employers house

KUWAIT CITY, April 30: An Asian housemaid committed suicide by hanging in her employer’s house in Waha, reports Al-Anba daily. Initial investigations revealed the housemaid used a sheet, which she tied to the ceiling of her room and then around her neck, to take her own life. The Operations Unit in the Ministry of Interior received a report from a citizen, stating he found out that his housemaid committed suicide in her room. A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to establish the circumstances that prompted the housemaid to take her own life.

Meanwhile, a citizen died after his motorcycle overturned in the Shuwaikh area, reports Al-Rai daily. The Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior said immediately after the report was received on the accident, security men and medical personnel rushed to the place and the biker was taken to the hospital but he was declared dead upon arrival.
