Asian held with two kilos of pure heroin – Indian duo caught with 634 liquor bottles

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 22: An Asian expatriate was arrested in Hawally area in possession of two kilograms of pure heroin, 250 grams of a different drug and drug paraphernalia. According to security sources, when the Director General of Directorate General for Drug Control Colonel Waleed Al-Duraie received information about an Asian expatriate involved in drug peddling in Hawally area, a team was formed for investigations. An undercover agent was sent to the suspect to purchase 250 grams of heroin for KD 6,500. During the transaction, the suspect was caught red-handed. When the team checked his apartment, they found two kilograms of pure heroin, 250 grams of a different drug and drug paraphernalia placed in a secret location inside the apartment. The suspect confessed that the drugs belong to him. Necessary action was taken after which the suspect was referred to the Public Prosecution.

Two Indians nabbed: Two Indian nationals were arrested by officers from the General Department of Residency Affairs in Jleeb Shuyoukh area for violating residency law and peddling in liquor. The officers seized 634 bottles of local brew in their possession and referred them to the concerned authority for legal action.

Pimp, prostitutes held: An Arab expatriate and three Asian women were arrested along with an Asian man for running a brothel from an apartment in Fahaheel area. According to security sources, when Ahmadi Security Director received information about the activities of an Arab pimp and three Asian prostitutes in Fahaheel area, a team was formed to raid the apartment. During the raid, the three Asian women and the Arab man were arrested along with an Asian man. They were referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action them. Meanwhile, a 24-year old drug addict was arrested in Andalous area in possession of 11 narcotic pills and other intoxicants. According to security sources, Farwaniya securitymen were patrolling Andalous area when they noticed a parked vehicle with an individual sleeping inside it. They woke him, asked him to step out of the vehicle and checked his details
