Asian Expatriate Found Dead in Apartment in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh

KUWAIT CITY: The Ministry of Interior has opened an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of an Asian expatriate who was found dead in an apparent suicide at a residence in the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area, security sources said.

According to details, the Ministry’s operations room received a report of a death inside an apartment, prompting an immediate response from a patrol of the local police station. Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered that an Asian expatriate had allegedly taken his own life by hanging inside the residence.

The incident was reported by a Syrian national, who resides in the same apartment, along with another occupant of the property. Both individuals informed authorities that they discovered the body inside the apartment and immediately alerted emergency services.

Forensic teams and concerned authorities were subsequently called in to examine the scene and complete legal procedures. The body has been referred for forensic examination, while an investigation has been launched to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the death.
