The Ministry of Interior's, General Administration of Customs department, has successfully prevented an attempt to smuggle approximately 2 kilograms of crystal meth via air cargo. The General Administration of Narcotics Control conducted intensified search and investigative operations, which led to information suggesting an impending operation to smuggle a quantity of narcotic substances through a postal parcel sent via air freight. In response to this intelligence, a coordinated effort was established with the General Administration of Customs. Asian expat was arrested while receiving the postal parcel. Upon inspection of the parcel, it was discovered that it concealed crystal meth cleverly hidden within a table lamp (lampshades). The accused was subsequently handed over to the appropriate legal authorities to initiate the necessary legal proceedings.
