Asian duo held in Abu Halifa liquor factory bust

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 13: Ahmadi securitymen raided a liquor factory run by two Asians in Abu Halifa area, and confiscated barrels full of local-made liquor alongside different sizes of bottles. The arrest followed a tip-off the Ahmadi Security Chief Brigadier Abdullah Safah received about the activities of the suspects. The flat was raided after detectives had verified authenticity of the report, and two Asians were arrested in connection with the illegitimate business. They were referred with the contraband to concerned authorities.

Driving drunk: A 30-year-old citizen was referred to Farwaniya Police Station after his vehicle collided with another in Farwaniya because he was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol, reports Al-Anba daily.

Indian trio held: The Farwaniya police have arrested three Indians for consuming alcohol and possessing drugs and referred them to the competent authorities, reports Annahar daily. The daily added, the men were arrested for reckless driving and at the time of arrest they appeared abnormal.
