KUWAIT CITY, Feb 12: The criminal investigation department arrested an Indian technician working at pvt clinic who was issuing forged PCR certificates.


The accused was monitored for a week to make sure of his illegal activities, necessary legal permission was sought and was arrested, 15 certificates were found in his possession which was to be handed over to their owners.


Several correspondence was found on his WhatsApp asking him to prepare a PCR certificate claiming that they were free from coronavirus without doing any test at the clinic, reports Al Anba. He had issued 70 such certificates for various nationalities at 32 KD per certificate.
