Securitymen arrest Asian with large quantities of medicines

KUWAIT CITY, June 29: Assistant Undersecretary for Medicine Control Affairs at Ministry of Health Abdullah Al-Bader revealed that officers from the Criminal Investigations Department arrested an Asian expatriate in possession of large quantities of a wide variety of medicines.

In a press release, he indicated that the suspect works at a site that is not affiliated to the ministry. Al-Bader said the Medicine Inspection Department of Ministry of Health is conducting investigations to determine the source of such huge quantities of medicines, stressing that the seized medicines includes five mediumsized cartons of medicines. He affirmed that the suspect has been referred to the concerned authorities for investigations.
