KUWAIT CITY, Nov 24: The Kuwait Art Creativity Exhibition, held in Al-Ahmadi Governorate, highlights the role of art as a bridge connecting peoples and promoting cultural exchange, officials said on Saturday.

The exhibition, organized under the patronage of the Governor of Al-Ahmadi, Sheikh Hamoud Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, marks Kuwait’s selection as the Capital of Arab Culture and Media 2025. It features the works of 165 artists from Kuwait, Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and other sister and friendly nations, providing a platform for cultural convergence and the celebration of artistic talent.

The event, running until next Thursday, is organized by the Kuwaiti Artists Association in collaboration with the Kuwait Oil Company. It presents a wide range of artistic styles, spanning realism, abstraction, fine art, and installation art, offering visitors a rich and diverse cultural experience.

Officials emphasized that the exhibition underscores the universal nature of art as a tool to unite people, strengthen cultural communication, and foster mutual understanding and respect among societies.
