KUWAIT CITY, Sept 7: The competent authorities in the Ministry of Health have monitored a number of coronavirus infections among the arrivals from abroad since the resumption of commercial flights, despite the requirement for all arriving passengers to present a PCR certificate proving that they are not infected, reports Al-Rai daily quoting informed sources.
Sources revealed to the daily that “infections were detected among those arriving from several countries through random examination — 10 percent of passengers on each arrival flight.” Sources pointed out this raised suspicions over some PCR certificates issued by laboratories abroad.
