Around 70% of Municipality’s buildings ‘unlicensed’: report

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 23: Around 70 percent of Kuwait Municipality’s buildings are unlicensed as per the report of the Committee on Establishment of Artistic File for Installations, a reliable source told Al-Rai daily.

The source revealed Director General of the Municipality Eng Ahmad Al-Manfouhi issued an administrative decision to form a committee that will inspect all buildings of the Municipality and submit a report in this regard. The source said the committee consists of 13 members with Bashayer Al- Awadi from the Construction Department as chairperson.
