Argentine coach Alvarez to lead Kuwait’s national volleyball team

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 14: The Kuwait Volleyball Federation has officially inked a contract with Argentine coach Julian Alvarez to take on the role of technical leader for the first national volleyball team in the upcoming period, with a one-season agreement. With a notable track record and prior experience coaching Burgan and Al-Qadisiya teams, the Argentine coach brings expertise to Kuwaiti stadiums. The signing of Julian is geared towards achieving a qualitative shift for the first team, aspiring to attain distinguished results at both regional and international levels.

In a separate development, Al-Shabab Club’s first volleyball team secured a victory over Al-Sahel, winning three games to one in a match held at the Al-Ittihad Hall in the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Complex, as part of the general league.As of now, the league standings are as follows: Al-Arabi and Burgan with 35 points each, Kazma with 34 points, Kuwait Club and Al-Qadisiya with 31 points each, Al-Shabab with 24 points, Yarmouk with 17 points, Al-Tadamon with 15 points, and Al-Sahel and Sulaibkhat with 3 points each.
