Kuwait Times Deputy Editor-In-Chief, Jana Khaldoun Alnaqeeb
KUWAIT CITY, Feb 9: Jana Khaldoun Alnaqeeb has been appointed as Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Kuwait Times – a move widely seen as reinforcing the commitment of the newspaper to champion the empowerment of women and to expand female representation in media leadership. Alnaqeeb joined the editorial leadership after three years with the newspaper, during which she supervised public relations and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
During her tenure, Alnaqeeb was instrumental in expanding community outreach through educational and cultural programs, launching a structured summer internship scheme, and building direct engagement channels with school and university students. She also contributed to the development of the newspaper’s digital strategy and attracting creative contributors, thereby helping the publication deepen its reach among younger audiences.

Alnaqeeb holds a degree in Mass Communications and Visual Media from the American University in Washington. She has a diverse professional background spanning academia, the private sector, and creative consulting. She is also active in civic and cultural activities, including co-founding the Kuwait Charity Run and The Yoga Center Kuwait, alongside ongoing work in photography, blogging and archival projects.
