MANAMA, Dec 21: The Arab Tennis Federation has launched its coaches’ training course in the Bahraini capital, Manama, with the participation of 25 male and female trainees from across the region.

Kuwait is represented in the program by Ahmed Dashti, Mohammed Hassan Al-Rashed, Hilal Al-Anzi, Khalifa Jassem, and Ali Hussein.

The course is led by Egyptian international lecturer Mostafa Naim, alongside Dr. Salma Al-Mulhi, Vice President of the International Federation. It combines theoretical and practical sessions designed to enhance technical and tactical knowledge and introduce modern coaching methods in line with internationally approved standards.

Ahmed Dashti highlighted the significance of the course in strengthening coaches’ technical, practical, and tactical skills, stressing his keenness to take part to benefit from the expertise offered and exchange experiences with coaches from other Arab countries.

He also thanked the Arab Tennis Federation, headed by Sheikh Ahmed Al-Jaber, for its ongoing efforts to support and develop tennis across the Arab world.

The course forms part of the Arab Tennis Federation’s broader strategy to establish a qualified coaching base, standardize technical concepts, and raise coaching efficiency, ultimately improving the standard of players and competitions in the region. It is being held alongside the fifth Arab Elite Tennis Championship, with participants analyzing tournament matches as part of their daily training program.
